Ralph is a retired software engineer who loves Jesus and came to the Lord later in life. At the age of thirty-nine years old, while attending graduate school, Ralph had a “road to Damascus” experience and has been walking with the Lord since. He is a native of Colorado and has been married to his high school sweet heart since 1975. Ralph and his wife Marlene, have two children and three grandchildren.
Ralph and Marlene have been hosting Bible studies and marriage groups in their home for over two decades, which is how long Ralph has been writing Precept Bible Studies. A huge thank you goes out to “The James Gang” home group and “The Band of Brothers” men’s group for their invaluable contribution in putting these studies together, as well as to the many pastors and spiritual teachers who have mentored Ralph over the years. An extra big shout out goes to Marlene for her support, encouragement and insight in getting these studies published.
At the urging of his friends and family, Ralph assembled his old home group studies and organized them into a series of Precept Bible Studies. These studies challenge the reader to dive deep into God’s word (interpret) so they can learn to apply God’s Word into their daily life (application), while having fun at the same time! Ralph’s background as an engineer, writing software and technical documents, has uniquely qualified him to use his analytical skills to dissect God’s Word, verse by verse, making it easy and simple to understand.
